My commute to work involves dropping my little brother off at school, then a short drive to the train station and then taking two trains to Rosebank, Johannesburg. This is all very frantic and quite a hustle. However once I get off the train at Rosebank there is a short 10 minute walk to my office. Usually this is my quiet time, and usually I’ll have my camera by my side to snap anything interesting that comes my way.
- Rosebank Station from underground just before you get onto the train.
- Rosebank is currently undergoing loads of upgrades so there is plenty construction going on.
- A construction worker takes a break.
- These guys immediately posed as I walk by. Best kinda people to photograph
- Underground parking lot of Rosebank Mall
- A worker sticks his head over the fence.
- This guy wasn’t too pleased to have his picture taken.
- Under the bridge
- This one was taken at night of a fellow commuter heading home.
- Some more construction.
- This lady’s outfit really made this scene seem quite vintage.
- This is the ground floor of my office building.
- This was my first sort of street portrait of a gentlemen named Patrick.
- This is Brendan, I see him everynow and then walking around.
- I see Patrick on almost a daily basis. Him and I share a cigarette every morning.
